from a red eye bulging
falling outwards from the socket
imploding under the impact
of an iron bar
across my skull
incandescent heat
and cold ice
at the same time

pounding
stabbing
tearing
constant
pain
unilaterally
splitting me into half
stopping all thoughts
cluster

the feeling
of a bullet
lingering
in the back
of your head
having left a hole
in the frontal
