My body is mine – Sovereign
Sovereign as Mother Earth
But my body has been colonized
by strange ideas
of what is
and should be
and how and what
and could and can and should
and what and may and not
Like a coyote after the rain
I shake my fur
shaking them out
they don’t belong to me
I am my own expert
and like the trickster
I’ll play a trick on you
and live my own life
strong, resilient
and beautiful
– my own rules
no predefined set
of strange binaries
My body is mine –
sovereign
it is not wrong, it is sacred
my love is sacred
and as such it grows more sacred
as I grow into it
with every step I take
mot to survive
but to
Live
My body is mine – Sovereign
Sovereign as Mother Earth
Sovereign
