Western Feminism has died
Western Feminism is dead
I keep saying it like a mantra
Hoping it will be resurrected
From the grave it dug itself
To hide inside
But

Western Feminism is dead
It is so aggressively dead
Gone with the wind like Butler
So bad
So sad
It has had
Not a single concern
For Jewish women
On October 7th

Feminism was raped
Mutilated
Shot and stabbed
Disemboweled
And finally abducted
Into the depths of hell
Into a lightless
And lifeless labyrinth
From which the muffled screams
don’t reach the surface

Western feminism is dead
How else
Can I explain the deafening silence
the denial
In face of screaming violence
Committed and still being committed
Over and over again
Against those
Being held captive?

Too many flowers were picked too soon
And angels flew to the moon
Gone too soon, too soon
Their absence hurting still like open wounds
And all the yellow ribbons
For those that we are still waiting for
Hoping for
Praying for
Still held underground
In tunnel cells

Like animals
Hoarded like their ancestors
In cattle cars
Waiting for what might be next
Whilst feminism is silently dead
And the world cheers their butchers on
And celebrates
‘for they had it coming’
And others conveniently
Silently look away
Trying to define for us
What antisemitism is

From the river to the sea
October 7th was so quickly forgotten
As if it never took place
Whilst for us it never ended

You never gave us space to grieve
Only hatred and indifference to live
Only DARVO and What-about
So more than sometimes I have a doubt
Whether western leftists
And feminists
With their selective empathy
And selective morality
Do really have that much integrity

Can’t get the images out of my head
That morning I was still in bed
Messages and ringtone
And I opened my phone
Heard the voices
Saw them running
The look in the eyes will never leave me

The angels of Nova
And the families
From the havens of peace
And the workers
Shot
Pulled by their hair
Executed
Mutilated
Raped
Beheaded
In front of each other
And you all stand silent and watch

Still,
Until now
Accusing the dead of the own death
And the victims of rape of their fate

When years ago I posted #MeToo
I now know that me too, I don’t count
Because it’s #MeTooUnlessYou’reAJew

And this October rain falls like acid
Burned its way through friendships
But it can’t dissolve our voices that say
Bring them home
Bring them home now!
Shuvi el Beyti

Come back home
Come back home,
To look into my eyes again
Evening is coming and it’s getting late.
Come back home
Spring is here
When will the happy day finally come?

In your eyes, Moteq,
all the light and innocence are preserved
even though they tried all they could
to take it away and break you
the violence they did
is more than anyone should know
I keep asking myself where you are

love was shot,
burned
beaten
spat at
raped
and kidnapped

A thousand of times
And 253 times
And injured thousands of times
And 134 times still

Men, Women, girls, children
And ever since it’s like walking in the fog
I wading through thick mire
And being stuck in the swamp
Of incertainty
For families waiting for their loved ones to return
For friends, for lovers
Mothers, fathers, children
It’s like losing your mind

As the day seems to repeat itself
again
and again
And again
Because when my heart breaks
and breaks and breaks
and breaks
at least it can’t become hard
And when my heart
drowns in tears
then at least it can
not harden

Shuvi el Beyti
Come back home
The light of a shining star
Like a beautiful dream
How beautiful you always were
And you still are today –

Still beautiful
Still precious
Each of you
Until you come home
Bring them home!

When will love overcome everything
when will love conquer everything,
when?

And even though they tear down posters,
And and tell us to walk into the sea
Or go back to Auschwitz
And that 6 million were not enough
And while from Berlin to Paris
Stars of David are painted next to doors,
And BDS is nothing but 1933 “Don’t buy from the Jews”
And my friends are silent
or shout Intifada and From the River to the Sea
and feminists don’t care about Women anymore
neither leftists about empathy and morals
and queers align with islamist imperialism

But here I stand, and
Each individual should say to himself:
The world was created for me,
therefore I am also responsible
As long as man lives, he has hope
And then I say to myself, as long as he has love, too

And when the fathers say
that the world is based on three things,
I add a fourth:
besides justice, truth and peace
do not forget love,
for I will not give up hope
that one day
will really conquer everything.

We won’t give in
We won’t give up
We do
Our own #MeToo

We shall dance again
In the rain
And in the storm
Through the pain
And against all norms

If you haven’t seen Jewish resilience
You have seen nothing
And when you look at Jewish women
You know what strength is
Their names are not forgotten
And never shall they be

For as long as there is hope
We shall keep pronouncing them
And keep saying
Save our Hostages!
Bring them Home

Bring them Home now
